कल्मषापहर-कीर्तनम् / Kīrtana for the Removal of Impurity
लोष्टै: स्तम्भैरायुधैर्वा जन्तून् बाधति शोभने । हिंसार्थ निकृतिप्रज्ञ: प्रोद्ेजयति चैव ह
loṣṭaiḥ stambhair āyudhair vā jantūn bādhati śobhane | hiṃsārthaṃ nikṛtiprajñaḥ prodejayati caiva ha ||
ಮಹೇಶ್ವರನು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ಓ ಶೋಭನೆ! ವಕ್ರಬುದ್ಧಿಯವನು ಹಿಂಸಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಜೀವಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪೀಡಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ—ಮಣ್ಣಿನ ಗುಡ್ಡೆಗಳಿಂದ, ದಂಡಗಳಿಂದ ಅಥವಾ ಕಂಬಗಳಿಂದ, ಇಲ್ಲವೇ ಆಯುಧಗಳಿಂದ. ಹಾನಿ ಮಾಡುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಅವನು ಜಾಣ್ಮೆಯಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಭಯೋದ್ವೇಗಗೊಳಿಸಿ ಹಿಂಸೆಯನ್ನು ಕೆರಳಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.
