उवाचोमा प्रणिह्ठिता शर्वाणी तपसां निधि: । दत्तो भगवता पुत्र: साम्बो नाम तवानघ

Transliteration

uvāca umā praṇihitā śarvāṇī tapasāṁ nidhiḥ | datto bhagavatā putraḥ sāmbo nāma tavānagha |

Translation

ಏಕಾಗ್ರಚಿತ್ತ ತಪೋನಿಧಿಯಾದ ಶರ್ವಾಣಿ ಉಮಾ ಹೇಳಿದರು—“ನಿಷ್ಪಾಪನೇ! ಭಗವಾನ್ ನಿನಗೆ ‘ಸಾಂಬ’ ಎಂಬ ಪುತ್ರನನ್ನು ದತ್ತನಾಗಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ।”
