हव्यवाहे तु यः पिण्डो दीयते तन्निबोध मे । पितरस्तेन तृप्यन्ति प्रीता:ः कामान् दिशन्ति च
havyavāhe tu yaḥ piṇḍo dīyate tan nibodha me | pitaras tena tṛpyanti prītāḥ kāmān diśanti ca ||
ಹವ್ಯವಾಹನಾದ ಅಗ್ನಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವ ಪಿಂಡವನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಾರೋ, ಅದರ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ನನ್ನಿಂದ ತಿಳಿದುಕೋ. ಆ ಅರ್ಪಣದಿಂದ ಪಿತೃಗಳು ತೃಪ್ತರಾಗುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಸಂತೋಷಗೊಂಡು ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಇಷ್ಟಾರ್ಥಗಳನ್ನು ದಯಪಾಲಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
