पितर ऊचु. सुमहानेष प्रश्नो वै यस्त्वया समुदीरित:
pitaras ūcuḥ | sumahān eṣa praśno vai yas tvayā samudīritaḥ |
ಪಿತೃಗಳು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ಹೇ ಆಕಾಶಚಾರಿ ದೇವದೂತನೇ! ನೀನು ಎತ್ತಿದ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಮಹತ್ತಾದುದು. ನೀನು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಒಂದು ಅದ್ಭುತವಾದ, ಸೂಕ್ಷ್ಮವಾದ ರಹಸ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೀ. ಈ ಪಿತೃಕರ್ಮವನ್ನು ದೇವರೂ ಮುನಿಗಳೂ ಪ್ರಶಂಸಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ।
