सदा द्वादशमासान्‌ वै जुह्मानो जातवेदसम्‌ | स्थानं वारुणमैन्द्रं च रौद्रं वाप्पधिगच्छति

Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca | sadā dvādaśa-māsān vai juhvāno jātavedasam | sthānaṃ vāruṇam aindraṃ ca raudraṃ vāpy adhigacchati ||

Translation

ಯಾರು ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ತಿಂಗಳು ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಜಾತವೇದಸ್ (ಅಗ್ನಿ)ನಲ್ಲಿ ಆಹುತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಾನೋ, ಅವನು ವರುಣ, ಇಂದ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ರುದ್ರರ ಲೋಕಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಾನೆ॥
