मानसतीर्थ-शौचप्रशंसा | Praise of the ‘Mental Tīrtha’ and the Marks of Purity
न ते शक््या दरिद्रेण यज्ञा: प्राप्तुं पितामह । बहूपकरणा यज्ञा नानासम्भारविस्तरा:
yudhiṣṭhira uvāca | na te śakyā daridreṇa yajñāḥ prāptuṃ pitāmaha | bahūpakaraṇā yajñā nānāsambhāravistarāḥ ||
ಯುಧಿಷ್ಠಿರನು ಹೇಳಿದರು— ಪಿತಾಮಹ! ದರಿದ್ರನು ಆ ಯಜ್ಞಗಳ ಫಲವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ; ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಯಜ್ಞಗಳಿಗೆ ಅನೇಕ ಉಪಕರಣಗಳು ಬೇಕಾಗುತ್ತವೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಾನಾವಿಧ ಸಾಮಗ್ರಿ-ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ ಅವು ಬಹಳ ವಿಸ್ತಾರವಾಗುತ್ತವೆ।
