मानसतीर्थ-शौचप्रशंसा | Praise of the ‘Mental Tīrtha’ and the Marks of Purity
ऊर्ध्व विचित्रसंकाशे नैको वसति पूजित: । जिस विमानपर वह विराजमान होता है
ūrdhva-vicitra-saṅkāśe naiko vasati pūjitaḥ | yāvad varṣa-sahasraṃ vai jambūdvīpe pravarṣati ||
ಭೀಷ್ಮನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಮೇಲ್ಭಾಗವು ನಾನಾ ವರ್ಣಗಳ ಅದ್ಭುತ ವೈಚಿತ್ರ್ಯದಿಂದ ಕಂಗೊಳಿಸುವ ಆ ದಿವ್ಯ ಧಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನೇ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಅನೇಕ ಪೂಜ್ಯರು ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಜಂಬೂದ್ವೀಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾವಿರ ವರ್ಷಗಳವರೆಗೆ ಮಳೆ ಸುರಿಯುವಷ್ಟು ಕಾಲ, ಅಷ್ಟೇ ಕಾಲ ಆ ಪೂಜ್ಯನು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.
