Anuśāsana-parva 108
(य इमं शृणुयान्नित्यं यश्चापि परिकीर्तयेत् स शुभानू प्राप्तुते लोकान् सदाचारव्रतान्नूप ।।
ya imaṁ śṛṇuyān nityaṁ yaś cāpi parikīrtayet | sa śubhān prāpnute lokān sadācāra-vratān nṛpa ||
ಭೀಷ್ಮನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಓ ನರೇಶ್ವರ! ಯಾರು ಈ ವೃತ್ತಾಂತವನ್ನು ನಿತ್ಯವೂ ಕೇಳುವನೋ, ಯಾರು ಇದನ್ನು ಉಚ್ಚರಿಸಿ ಪಠಿಸುವನೋ, ಅವನು ಸದಾಚಾರವ್ರತಗಳ ಪ್ರಭಾವದಿಂದ ಶುಭ ಲೋಕಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಾನೆ।
