नहुषोपाख्यानम्—दीपदान-धूप-बलीकर्म-प्रशंसा
Nahūṣa Episode and the Commendation of Lamp-Gifting and Household Offerings
निमीलय स्वनयने जटां यावद् विशामि ते । स्थाणुभूतस्य तस्याथ जटां प्राविशदच्युत:
nimīlaya svanayane jaṭāṁ yāvad viśāmi te | sthāṇubhūtasya tasyātha jaṭāṁ prāviśad acyutaḥ ||
ಭೃಗು ಹೇಳಿದರು—“ಮುನಿಯೇ! ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಜಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುವವರೆಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚು.” ಆಗ ಅಗಸ್ತ್ಯನು ಕಣ್ಣು ಮುಚ್ಚಿ ಕಂಬದಂತೆ ನಿಶ್ಚಲನಾಗಿ ನಿಂತನು; ಮತ್ತು ಮર્યಾದೆಯಿಂದ ಚ್ಯುತವಾಗದ (ಅಚ್ಯುತ) ಭೃಗು ಅವನ ಜಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿದನು.
