Vāraṇāvata-prasaṃsā and the Pāṇḍavas’ Departure (वरणावत-प्रशंसा तथा पाण्डव-प्रयाणम्)

ददौ तत: कुमाराणां विस्मितानामविस्मित: । मुद्रिकामुद्धूतां दृष्टवा तमाहुस्ते कुमारका:

dadau tataḥ kumārāṇāṁ vismitānām avismitaḥ | mudrikām uddhūtāṁ dṛṣṭvā tam āhus te kumārakāḥ | vaiśampāyana uvāca |

ವೈಶಂಪಾಯನನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಕುಮಾರರು ವಿಸ್ಮಯಗೊಂಡು ನಿಂತಿದ್ದರೂ, ದ್ರೋಣನು ಅವಿಸ್ಮಿತನಾಗಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ನೀಡಿದನು. ಬಾವಿಯಿಂದ ಹೊರತಂದ ಆ ಉಂಗುರವನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಆ ಕುಮಾರರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಮತ್ತೆ ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.
