यद्देवेभ्यो यत्पितृभ्यः श्रद्धयैव प्रदीयते / तत्फलं भर्तृपूजातः कुर्याद्भर्त्रर्चनं ततः

ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪಿತೃಗಳಿಗೆ ಶ್ರದ್ಧೆಯಿಂದ ಏನು ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೋ, ಅದರ ಫಲವು ಪತಿಪೂಜೆಯಿಂದಲೇ ಉಂಟಾಗುತ್ತದೆ; ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಂತರ ಪತಿಯ ಅರ್ಚನೆ-ಪೂಜೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು।
