द्वादशाहे त्रिपक्षे वा षण्मासे वत्सरे ऽपि वा / सपिण्डीकरणं प्रोक्तमृषिभिस्तत्त्वदर्शिभिः
dvādaśāhe tripakṣe vā ṣaṇmāse vatsare 'pi vā / sapiṇḍīkaraṇaṃ proktamṛṣibhistattvadarśibhiḥ
ದ್ವಾದಶ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಾಗಲಿ, ಪಾಕ್ಷಿಕಾಂತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಾಗಲಿ, ಆರು ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಥವಾ ವರ್ಷಾಂತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಾಗಲಿ—ಸಪಿಂಡೀಕರಣ ವಿಧಿಯೆಂದು ತತ್ತ್ವದರ್ಶಿ ಋಷಿಗಳು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ।
