FAQs

This verse marks a transition from explaining primordial, Prakṛti-based creation (prākṛta-sarga) to the next stage of modified or secondary creation (vaikṛta-sarga), framing the Purana’s systematic cosmology.

Indirectly: by laying out how the cosmos is structured through stages of creation, it provides the metaphysical backdrop in which embodied beings (souls in bodies shaped by creation) experience karma and rebirth.

Use it as a reminder that life unfolds within an ordered cosmic process—encouraging humility, disciplined dharma, and attentive listening to scriptural teaching before forming conclusions.
