ಯಾಜ್ಞವಲ್ಕ್ಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು— ಸಂಕರಜಾತಿಗಳೂ ಗೃಹಸ್ಥಾದಿ ಆಶ್ರಮಧರ್ಮಗಳೂ ಆದ ಪರಮ ವಿಧಿಯನ್ನು ನಾನು ಹೇಳುವೆನು. ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣನಿಂದ ಕ್ಷತ್ರಿಯಸ್ತ್ರೀಯಲ್ಲಿ ‘ಮೂರ್ಧಾವಷಿಕ್ತ’ ಜನ್ಮಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣನಿಂದ ವೈಶ್ಯಸ್ತ್ರೀಯಲ್ಲಿ (ಇತರೆ) ಸಂಕರ ವರ್ಗ ಜನ್ಮಿಸುತ್ತದೆ।
