ॐ पात्रमहं करिष्ये / ॐ करुष्वेत्यनुज्ञातः कृत्वा पात्रे पवित्रनिषेवणम्

oṃ pātramahaṃ kariṣye / oṃ karuṣvetyanujñātaḥ kṛtvā pātre pavitraniṣevaṇam

‘ಓಂ ನಾನು ಪಾತ್ರವನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸುವೆನು.’ ‘ಓಂ ಕರುಷ್ವ’ ಎಂಬ ಅನುಮತಿ ಪಡೆದ ಬಳಿಕ, ಪಾತ್ರವನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿ, ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಧಿವತ್ತಾಗಿ ಪವಿತ್ರ (ಪವಿತ್ರಕ)ವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿ ಶುದ್ಧೋಪಯೋಗಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು।
