ಆ ಲವಣರಸವನ್ನು ಅತಿಯಾಗಿ ಸೇವಿಸಿದರೆ ಅದು ಸ್ರೋತೋಮಾರ್ಗಗಳನ್ನು ತಡೆದು ದೇಹದಲ್ಲಿ ಶೈಥಿಲ್ಯ ಉಂಟುಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ. ಅಂಗಕಂಡು, ಉದರಶೋಥ, ಶ್ವಯಥು/ಊತ, ವರ್ಣವೈವರ್ಣ್ಯ ಉಂಟಾಗುತ್ತದೆ; ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ರಕ್ತವಾತ, ಪಿತ್ತರಕ್ತ, ಪುಂಸ್ತ್ವ ಹಾಗೂ ಇಂದ್ರಿಯರುಜಾದಿ ವ್ಯಾಧಿಗಳು ಹುಟ್ಟುತ್ತವೆ.
