Related Themes: Garuda Purana 1.171 (kuṣṭha-cikitsā cluster; multiple taila/lepa/kvātha formulations)
This verse treats Vajraka-kuṣṭha as a serious, named skin disorder and records a specific classical preparation using neem and black cane, showing the Purana’s practical medical tradition alongside dharma teachings.
It does not describe afterlife travel here; instead, it supports dharmic living by preserving the body through prescribed remedies, which is considered helpful for fulfilling duties (dharma) in life.
Use it as a textual reference for traditional formulations (neem-based preparations), while seeking guidance from qualified Ayurvedic practitioners for safe, context-appropriate use.
