ಫಾಣಿತ (ಗಾಢ ಕಬ್ಬಿನ ರಸ) ಪಿತ್ತವರ್ಧಕ ಮತ್ತು ತೀವ್ರ; ಸುರೆಯೂ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ. ಮತ್ಸ್ಯಂಡಿಕಾ (ಸ್ಫಟಿಕ ಸಕ್ಕರೆ) ಲಘು. ಖಂಡ (ಶುದ್ಧ ಸಕ್ಕರೆ) ವೃಷ್ಯ, ಸ್ನಿಗ್ಧ, ಮಧುರ; ರಕ್ತ, ಪಿತ್ತ ಮತ್ತು ವಾತದ ವಿಕಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಜಯಿಸುತ್ತದೆ।
