नाम चतुस्त्रिंशदुत्तरशततमो ऽध्यायः ब्रह्मोवाच / नवम्यामाश्विने शुक्ले एकभक्तेन पूजयेत् / देवीं विप्रंल्लक्षमेकञ्जपेद्वीरं व्रती नरः

ಬ್ರಹ್ಮನು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ಆಶ್ವಿನ ಶುಕ್ಲಪಕ್ಷದ ನವಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವ್ರತಸ್ಥನು ಏಕಭಕ್ತನಾಗಿ ದೇವಿಯನ್ನು ಪೂಜಿಸಿ, ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣನನ್ನು ಸತ್ಕರಿಸಿ, ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮೀಮಂತ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ವೀರ (ರಕ್ಷಕ) ಮಂತ್ರವನ್ನು ಒಂದೇ ಬಾರಿ ಜಪಿಸಬೇಕು।
