सायं प्रातरुपासीत गुर्वग्न्यर्कसुरोत्तमान् । सन्ध्ये उभे च यतवाग्जपन्ब्रह्म समाहित: ॥ २ ॥
sāyaṁ prātar upāsīta gurv-agny-arka-surottamān sandhye ubhe ca yata-vāg japan brahma samāhitaḥ
ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಾತಃಕಾಲ—ಎರಡೂ ಸಂಧ್ಯಾಕಾಲಗಳಲ್ಲಿ—ಅವನು ಗುರು, ಅಗ್ನಿ, ಸೂರ್ಯದೇವ ಮತ್ತು ದೇವೋತ್ತಮ ಶ್ರೀವಿಷ್ಣುವನ್ನು ಉಪಾಸಿಸಬೇಕು; ವಾಕ್ಸಂಯಮದಿಂದ, ಏಕಾಗ್ರಚಿತ್ತದಿಂದ ಗಾಯತ್ರಿ (ಬ್ರಹ್ಮ) ಜಪ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು.
