Parīkṣit’s Vow on the Gaṅgā and the Advent of Śukadeva Gosvāmī
आश्रुत्य तदृषिगणवच: परीक्षित् समं मधुच्युद् गुरु चाव्यलीकम् । आभाषतैनानभिनन्द्य युक्तान् शुश्रूषमाणश्चरितानि विष्णो: ॥ २२ ॥
āśrutya tad ṛṣi-gaṇa-vacaḥ parīkṣit samaṁ madhu-cyud guru cāvyalīkam ābhāṣatainān abhinandya yuktān śuśrūṣamāṇaś caritāni viṣṇoḥ
ಋಷಿಗಣಗಳ ಆ ವಚನಗಳು ಕೇಳಲು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಮಧುರವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣ, ಯಥೋಚಿತ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಸತ್ಯವಾಗಿದ್ದವು. ಅವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ, ವಿಷ್ಣು (ಶ್ರೀಕೃಷ್ಣ)ನ ಲೀಲಾಚರಿತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಲು ಬಯಸಿದ ಮಹಾರಾಜ ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿತನು ಆ ಯೋಗ್ಯ ಮಹರ್ಷಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸಿ ವಿನಯದಿಂದ ಮಾತಾಡಿದನು।
