अयोध्यावासिन: सर्वे बालकान् पुनरागतान् । दृष्ट्वा विसिस्मिरे राजन् राजा चाप्यन्वतप्यत ॥ १८ ॥

ಓ ರಾಜನೇ! ಅಯೋಧ್ಯೆಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಬಾಲಕರು ಮತ್ತೆ ಜೀವಂತವಾಗಿ ಮರಳಿರುವುದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಅಚ್ಚರಿಗೊಂಡರು. ರಾಜ ಸಗರನೂ ತನ್ನ ಪುತ್ರವಿಯೋಗವನ್ನು ನೆನೆದು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ವಿಷಾದಿಸಿದನು.
