Purukutsa’s Rasātala Victory; Triśaṅku and Hariścandra; Rohita and Śunaḥśepha
satyaṁ sāraṁ dhṛtiṁ dṛṣṭvā sabhāryasya ca bhūpateḥ viśvāmitro bhṛśaṁ prīto dadāv avihatāṁ gatim
It teaches that satya (truthfulness), sāra (inner substance), and dhṛti (steadfast courage) are so spiritually potent that they attract the blessings of great sages, who may grant an unobstructed auspicious attainment.
Viśvāmitra observed their unwavering truthfulness and fortitude even under testing circumstances; being deeply pleased by their character, he granted them an avihatā gati—an unimpeded blessed destination.
Practice truthful speech, cultivate inner integrity, and remain steady during trials; such dharmic steadiness invites spiritual progress and the goodwill of saintly persons and genuine teachers.
