Balarāma Visits Vraja: Consoling the Gopīs and Dragging the Yamunā
गोपवृद्धांश्च विधिवद् यविष्ठैरभिवन्दित: । यथावयो यथासख्यं यथासम्बन्धमात्मन: ॥ ४ ॥ समुपेत्याथ गोपालान् हास्यहस्तग्रहादिभि: । विश्रान्तं सुखमासीनं पप्रच्छु: पर्युपागता: ॥ ५ ॥ पृष्टाश्चानामयं स्वेषु प्रेमगद्गदया गिरा । कृष्णे कमलपत्राक्षे सन्न्यस्ताखिलराधस: ॥ ६ ॥
gopa-vṛddhāṁś ca vidhi-vad yaviṣṭhair abhivanditaḥ yathā-vayo yathā-sakhyaṁ yathā-sambandham ātmanaḥ
ಭಗವಾನ್ ಬಲರಾಮನು ಗೋಪವೃದ್ಧರಿಗೆ ವಿಧಿಪೂರ್ವಕ ವಂದನೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದನು; ಕಿರಿಯವರೂ ಗೌರವದಿಂದ ನಮಸ್ಕರಿಸಿದರು. ವಯಸ್ಸು, ಸ್ನೇಹ ಮತ್ತು ಬಂಧುತ್ವಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ಅವನು ನಗು, ಕೈಹಿಡಿತ ಮುಂತಾದ ಸೌಹಾರ್ದಚಿಹ್ನೆಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರನ್ನೂ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕವಾಗಿ ಭೇಟಿಯಾದನು. ನಂತರ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿ ಪಡೆದು ಪ್ರಭು ಸುಖಾಸನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತನು; ಸುತ್ತಲು ಸೇರಿದ ಗೋಪರು ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಿಂದ ಗದ್ಗದ ಧ್ವನಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದ್ವಾರಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ತಮ್ಮವರ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ವಿಚಾರಿಸಿದರು, ಮತ್ತು ಬಲರಾಮನು ಕೂಡ ಗೋಪರ ಕುಶಲವನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸಿದನು—ಅವರು ಕಮಲಪತ್ರಾಕ್ಷನಾದ ಶ್ರೀಕೃಷ್ಣನಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದ್ದವರು।
