ये शालाः परिनृत्यन्ति सायं गर्दभनादिनः । कुसूला ये च कुक्षिलाः ककुभाः करुमाः स्रिमाः । तानोषधे त्वं गन्धेन विषूचीनान् वि नाशय
yé śālā́ḥ pari-nṛ́tyanti sāyáṃ gardabha-nādínaḥ | kusū́lā yé ca kukṣilā́ḥ kakúbhāḥ karúmā́ḥ srímā́ḥ | tā́n oṣadhe tváṃ gándhena viṣūcī́nān ví nāśaya
Those Shālā-haunters who dance about at evening, braying with ass-like cries; those of the granary, and the belly-haunters, the hunch-backed, the sooty, the oozing—those cross-going mischief-makers, O Herb, do thou, by thy fragrance, scatter and destroy.
ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಲೆಗಳ ಸುತ್ತ ಪರಿನೃತ್ಯ ಮಾಡುವ, ಗರ್ಧಭದಂತೆ ಕೂಗುವ ಶಾಲಾ-ಭ್ರಮಕರರು; ಕುಸೂಲ (ಧಾನ್ಯಕೋಶ)ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವವರು, ಕುಕ್ಷಿಲ (ಹೊಟ್ಟೆ-ಭ್ರಮಕರು), ಕಕುಭ (ಕುಬ್ಬಿದವರು), ಕರುಮ (ಕಪ್ಪು/ಮಸಿ-ಬಣ್ಣದವರು), ಸ್ರಿಮ (ಒಸರು/ಸ್ರಾವವುಳ್ಳವರು)—ಇಂತಹ ವಿಷೂಚೀನ (ಅಡ್ಡದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಚರಿಸಿ ಉಪದ್ರವ ಮಾಡುವ)ವರನ್ನು, ಓ ಔಷಧೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಗಂಧದಿಂದ ಚದುರಿಸಿ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ನಾಶಮಾಡು.
