प्राणापानौ चक्षुः श्रोत्रमक्षितिश्च क्षितिश्च या। उच्छिष्टाज्जज्ञिरे सर्वे दिवि देवा दिविश्रितः

IAST Transliteration

prā́ṇāpānāú cákṣuḥ śrótram ákṣitiś ca kṣítiś ca yā́ | úcchiṣṭāj jajñiré sárve diví devā́ diviśritáḥ ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

In-breath and out-breath, sight and hearing, imperishableness and firm standing—whatsoever these be: from the Leftover were they all brought forth, the Gods who in the heaven abide, heaven-established.

Translation

ಪ್ರಾಣ-ಅಪಾನ, ಚಕ್ಷು ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೋತ್ರ, ಅಕ್ಷಿತಿ (ಅವಿನಾಶಿತ್ವ) ಮತ್ತು ಕ್ಷಿತಿ (ಸ್ಥಿರ ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆ)—ಇವು ಯಾವದೇ ಆಗಿರಲಿ; ಉಚ್ಛಿಷ್ಟದಿಂದ ಅವೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಜನಿಸಿದವು: ದಿವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವ, ದಿವಿಶ್ರಿತ (ಸ್ವರ್ಗಸ್ಥ) ದೇವರುಗಳು.
