क्रव्यादानुवर्तयन्मृत्युना च पुरोहितम्। त्रिषन्धे प्रेहि सेनया जयामित्रान् प्र पद्यस्व

IAST Transliteration

kravyādā́nu-vártayan mṛtyúnā ca puróhitaṃ | tríṣandhe préhi sénayā jáyā́mitrā́n prá padyasva ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Pursuing the flesh-devourers, and with Death for thine ally, smite first the foeman’s leader set in front. At the threefold junction go forth with the host: conquer the enemies; advance and set thy foot upon them.

Translation

ಕ್ರವ್ಯಾದರು (ಮಾಂಸಭಕ್ಷಕರು) ಅವರನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ಮೃತ್ಯುವನ್ನು ಸಹಾಯಕನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು, ಮುಂಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತಿರುವ ಶತ್ರುವಿನ ನಾಯಕನನ್ನು ಮೊದಲು ಹೊಡೆ. ತ್ರಿಸಂಧಿ (ತ್ರಿ-ಸಂಧಿ) ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇನೆಯೊಡನೆ ಮುಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಡು; ಶತ್ರುಗಳನ್ನು ಜಯಿಸು; ಮುಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಗಿಹೋಗಿ ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಪಾದವಿಟ್ಟು ಸ್ಥಿರನಾಗು.
