बृहस्पतिराङ्गिरस ऋषयो ब्रह्मसंशिताः । असुरक्षयणं वधं त्रिषंधिं दिव्याश्रयन्

IAST Transliteration

bṛ́haspátir ā́ṅgirasa ṛ́ṣayo bráhma-saṃśitāḥ | asurakṣáyaṇaṃ vadháṃ tri-saṃdhíṃ divy ā́śrayan ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Bṛhaspati, the Angirasa seers, whetted with sacred speech, took their stand in heaven—(framing) the Asura-destroying smiting, the threefold compact.

Translation

ಬೃಹಸ್ಪತಿ, ಆಂಗಿರಸ ಋಷಿಗಳು—ಬ್ರಹ್ಮ (ಪವಿತ್ರ ವಾಣಿ)ದಿಂದ ತೀಕ್ಷ್ಣಗೊಂಡವರು—ದಿವ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಶ್ರಯ ಪಡೆದು ನಿಂತರು; (ಅಲ್ಲಿ) ಅಸುರಕ್ಷಯಣ (ಅಸುರ-ನಾಶಕ) ವಧ (ಪ್ರಹಾರ) ಮತ್ತು ತ್ರಿಸಂಧಿ (ಮೂರುಮಟ್ಟದ ಸಂಧಿ)ಯನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಿದರು.
