ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಚಾರಿಗೆ—ಸ್ವಾಧ್ಯಾಯ; ಅಗ್ನಿಕಾರ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಅಭಿಷೇಕ‑ಸೇವೆ; ಭಿಕ್ಷಾವ್ರತದಿಂದ ಜೀವನ. ಅವನ ಆಚರಣೆ—ಆಚಾರ್ಯನನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾಣಾಂತವರೆಗೆ ಸೇವಿಸುವುದು; ಆಚಾರ್ಯ ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೆ ಗುರುಪುತ್ರನನ್ನು ಅಥವಾ ಸಹಬ್ರಹ್ಮಚಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸುವುದು.
