तस्यातिक्रम उत्तमो दण्डः कर्तुः कारयितुश्च कर्मणा व्यापादनेन च ॥ कZ_०४.८.२० ॥

Transliteration

tasyātikrama uttamo daṇḍaḥ kartuḥ kārayituś ca karmaṇā vyāpādanena ca

Translation

ಆ (ನಿಯಮ)ವನ್ನು ಮೀರೆದು ನಡೆದರೆ ಅತ್ಯುನ್ನತ ದಂಡ—ಮಾಡಿದವನಿಗೂ ಮಾಡಿಸಿದ/ಆದೇಶಿಸಿದವನಿಗೂ; ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಆ ಕಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಂಟಾದ ಹಾನಿ ಅಥವಾ ಮರಣಕ್ಕೂ (ಹೊಣೆಗಾರಿಕೆ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ)।
