तत्र रत्नोपधाव् उत्तमो दण्डः कर्तुः कारयितुश्च सारोपधौ मध्यमः फल्गुकुप्योपधौ तच्च तावच्च दण्डः ॥ कZ_०२.५.०९ ॥

Transliteration

tatra ratnopadhāv uttamo daṇḍaḥ kartuḥ kārayituś ca; sāropadhau madhyamaḥ; phalgukupyopadhau tacca tāvacca daṇḍaḥ.

Translation

ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಬದಲಾವಣೆ/ಕಲ್ತಿಯ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ—ರತ್ನಗಳ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡಿದವನಿಗೂ ಮಾಡಿಸಿದವನಿಗೂ ಅತ್ಯುನ್ನತ ದಂಡ; ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಮೌಲ್ಯವಸ್ತುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮಧ್ಯಮ ದಂಡ; ಸಣ್ಣ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ವಸ್ತುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ಮೌಲ್ಯಕ್ಕೂ ಆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಕ್ಕೂ ಅನುಗುಣವಾದ ದಂಡ ವಿಧಿಸಬೇಕು।
