प्रोथ॒दश्वो॒ न यव॑सेऽवि॒ष्यन्य॒दा म॒हः सं॒वर॑णा॒द्वयस्था॑त् । आद॑स्य॒ वातो॒ अनु॑वाति शो॒चिरध॑ स्म ते॒ व्रज॑नं कृ॒ष्णम॑स्ति
Transliteration
próthad áśvo ná yávase’viṣyán yadā́ máhaḥ saṃváraṇād váyasthā́t | ā́ dasya vā́to ánvavāti śócír ádha sma te vrájanaṃ kṛ́ṣṇam asti
Translation
Forth sprang the steed, as if to the pasture, when from the great enclosure he took his stand. Thereupon the wind bloweth after his flame; and then, for thee, the track is dark.
