मद्धर्मवृद्धिकालोऽयं चंद्र काल इवांबुधेः । प्रतिष्ठाद्युत्सवो यत्र मामको मंगलायनः
maddharmavṛddhikālo'yaṃ caṃdra kāla ivāṃbudheḥ | pratiṣṭhādyutsavo yatra māmako maṃgalāyanaḥ
«នេះជាកាលសម័យសម្រាប់ការកើនឡើងនៃធម៌របស់ខ្ញុំ ដូចពេលព្រះចន្ទធ្វើឲ្យសមុទ្រឡើងជំនោរ។ នៅទីនោះ ពិធីបុណ្យចាប់ពីការប្រតិស្ឋា (លិង្គរបស់ខ្ញុំ) ជាពិធីរបស់ខ្ញុំ ហើយក្លាយជាផ្លូវនៃមង្គល»។

Sthala Purana: The verse links ‘pratiṣṭhā-ādi utsava’ (installation and allied festivals) with the expansion of Śiva-dharma, portraying consecration festivals as channels of auspiciousness (maṅgalāyana).
Significance: Encourages temple consecration festivals and periodic utsavas as dharma-amplifiers that stabilize communal devotion and invite Śiva’s sustaining presence.

It teaches that Śiva-centered rites and celebrations—especially consecration—expand dharma in the world, just as the moon causes the ocean to rise; devotion aligned to Śiva becomes a direct channel for auspiciousness and inner upliftment.
By highlighting “pratiṣṭhā” (installation/consecration), the verse affirms Saguna Śiva worship through the Liṅga: when the Liṅga is established and honored with festivals, the place becomes distinctly Śiva’s and spiritually potent for devotees.
Participate in or sponsor Liṅga-pratiṣṭhā and related utsavas with mantra-japa (especially pañcākṣarī, “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”), pūjā, and disciplined vrata; such Śiva-dedicated observances are described as maṅgala-āyana—leading to auspiciousness.
