Lord Shiva
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Dakṣiṇāmūrti
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: teaching
It teaches that true renunciation is fulfilled by disciplined worship joined with bhakti, culminating in steady meditation on Shiva (Pati), which is presented as a confidential path toward liberation.
The phrase “according to prescribed rites” implies Saguna upasana—ritual worship (including Linga-worship) performed correctly—leading the mind to one-pointed Shiva-dhyana, where external worship ripens into inner realization.
Follow vidhi (proper Shaiva procedure) with bhakti, then cultivate sustained meditation on Shiva—japa and dhyana as a renunciate’s core practice, where ritual supports inner absorption.
