Bhīṣma–Arjuna Encounter Framed Cosmically
अश्वत्थामोवाच नैव न्याय्यमिदं वाच्यमस्माकं पुरुषर्षभ । कि तु रोषपरीतेन गुरुणा भाषिता गुणा:
aśvatthāmovāca naiva nyāyyam idaṁ vācyam asmākaṁ puruṣarṣabha | kintu roṣaparītena guruṇā bhāṣitā guṇāḥ ||
អશ્વត្ថាមៈបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ «ឱ បុរសឧត្តម! មិនគួរនិយាយបែបនេះប្រឆាំងនឹងយើងឡើយ។ គ្រូអាចារ្យ ដ្រូណៈ ត្រូវកំហឹងគ្របដណ្ដប់ ហើយរំលឹកអំពើអយុត្តិធម៌មុនៗដែលបានកើតលើបណ្ឌវៈ ដូច្នេះទើបបានពោលសរសើរគុណសម្បត្តិរបស់អర్జុនដោយចិត្តក្តៅក្រហាយ—មិនមែនដើម្បីបង្កើតការបែកបាក់ទេ ប៉ុន្តែដោយសេចក្តីខឹងខ្លាំង»។
