घुलस्त्य उवाच
The verse teaches that pilgrimage (tīrtha-sevana) should be undertaken with dharma-awareness and steady intent. The seeker is urged to move purposefully from sacred place to sacred place, approaching renowned divine sites—here, Gaurī’s peak—as part of ethical self-cultivation and purification.
A speaker gives itinerary-style guidance within a tīrtha-yātrā context, directing the dharma-knowing pilgrim to proceed next to the famous summit associated with the Great Goddess Gaurī, celebrated across the three worlds.
