सूर्यदत्ताक्षयान्नेव कृष्णाया भोजनावधि । ब्राह्मणांस्तर्पमाणेषु ये चान्नार्थमुपागता:

Transliteration

Janamejaya uvāca |

sūryadattākṣayānneva kṛṣṇāyā bhojanāvadhi |

brāhmaṇāṁstarpamāṇeṣu ye cānnārthamupāgatāḥ ||

Translation

ជនមេជ័យមានព្រះវាចា៖ «ឱ មហាមុនីវៃសម្បាយនៈ! នៅពេលដែលពណ្ឌវៈអ្នកសុចរិតរស់នៅក្នុងព្រៃ ដោយធ្វើឲ្យមុនីទាំងឡាយរីករាយតាមរយៈរឿងរ៉ាវនិងសន្ទនាចម្រុះ ហើយមុនពេលក្រឹෂ್ಣា (ទ្រៅបទី) បានបរិភោគ ពួកគេបានបំពេញចិត្តព្រះព្រាហ្មណ៍ទាំងឡាយដែលមកសុំអាហារ ដោយអាហារពីអក្ខយបាត្រ ដែលព្រះអាទិត្យប្រទាន—នៅគ្រានោះ កូនប្រុសអធម៌របស់ធ្រិតរាស្ត្រ ដូចជា ទុរយោធន និងអ្នកដទៃ ដែលដើរតាមយោបល់របស់ ទុះសាសន កರ್ಣ និង សកុនិ បានប្រព្រឹត្តយ៉ាងដូចម្តេចចំពោះពណ្ឌវៈ? សូមព្រះអង្គប្រាប់ទាំងអស់តាមសំណួររបស់ខ្ញុំ»។
