अध्याय ८ — शल्यस्य सत्कारः, वरदानं, पाण्डवसमागमश्च (Śalya’s Reception, the Boon, and Meeting the Pāṇḍavas)

स्वदेशवेषाभरणा वीरा: शतसहस्रश: । तस्य सेनाप्रणेतारो बभूवु: क्षत्रियर्षभा:

svadeśaveṣābharaṇā vīrāḥ śatasahasraśaḥ | tasya senāpraṇetāro babhūvuḥ kṣatriyarṣabhāḥ ||

វៃសម្បាយនៈបាននិយាយ៖ វីរបុរសរាប់សែន—ម្នាក់ៗពាក់សម្លៀកបំពាក់ និងគ្រឿងអលង្ការតាមប្រពៃណីនៃដែនដីរបស់ខ្លួន—បានប្រមូលផ្តុំគ្នានៅទីនោះ។ សម្រាប់កងទ័ពនោះ អ្នកឧត្តមក្នុងចំណោមក្សត្រីយៈបានក្លាយជាមេបញ្ជាការ និងអ្នកដឹកនាំ។
