उद्योगपर्व — विदुरनीतिः (Adhyāya 37): आयुःक्षयहेतवः, नीतिसूत्राणि, बलभेदाः, पाण्डव-विग्रहदोषदर्शनम्
नित्यं सन्तः कुले जाता: पावकोपमतेजस:
nityaṁ santaḥ kule jātāḥ pāvakopama-tejasaḥ
វិទុរៈសង្កេតថា ក្នុងវង្សនេះ មនុស្សសុចរិតពិតប្រាកដកើតមានជានិច្ច—អ្នកដែលមានពន្លឺរុងរឿងដូចភ្លើង—បញ្ជាក់ថា សេចក្តីថ្លៃថ្នូរ និងកម្លាំងសីលធម៌ មិនមែនជារឿងចៃដន្យទេ ប៉ុន្តែជាមរតកដែលកើតឡើងជាបន្តបន្ទាប់ ហើយគួរជាគន្លងណែនាំសេចក្តីសម្រេចចិត្តបច្ចុប្បន្ន។
