उद्योगपर्व — अध्याय 33: धृतराष्ट्र-विदुर संवादः (विदुरनीतिः)
वश्येन्द्रियं जितात्मानं धृतदण्डं विकारिषु | परीक्ष्य कारिणं धीरमत्यन्तं श्रीनिषेवते
vaśyendriyaṁ jitātmānaṁ dhṛtadaṇḍaṁ vikāriṣu | parīkṣya kāriṇaṁ dhīram atyantaṁ śrī niṣevate ||
វិទុរៈបាននិយាយថា៖ សិរី (Śrī) បម្រើដោយស្មោះស្ម័គ្រយ៉ាងខ្លាំងចំពោះបុរសដ៏ធ្ងន់ធ្ងរ ដែលគ្រប់គ្រងឥន្ទ្រិយបាន ឈ្នះលើខ្លួនឯង ដាក់ទណ្ឌកម្មដល់អ្នកប្រព្រឹត្តខុសពេលចាំបាច់ ហើយធ្វើការតែបន្ទាប់ពីពិនិត្យពិចារណាឲ្យច្បាស់។
