अभिषातप्रभावाच्च पावक: समजायत | उस समय वायुके कम्पन और सूर्यकी किरणोंसे समस्त बाण परस्पर टकराने लगे। उनकी रगड़से वहाँ आग प्रकट हो गयी
abhiṣātaprabhāvāc ca pāvakaḥ samajāyata |
ភីṣ្មបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ «ហើយដោយអំណាចនៃការប៉ះទង្គិច និងការកកិត ភ្លើងក៏កើតឡើង»។ ពេលនោះ ដោយការញ័រខ្យល់ និងកាំរស្មីព្រះអាទិត្យ បណ្ដាព្រួញទាំងអស់បានប៉ះទង្គិចគ្នា; ពីការកកិតរបស់វា ភ្លើងបានលេចឡើងនៅទីនោះ។
