Droṇa–Vidura–Gāndhārī Counsel in the Royal Assembly (धर्मार्थयुक्ता सभा-उपदेश-प्रकरणम्)
न चोच्छेदं कुलं यायाद् विस्तीर्येच्च कथं यश: । तस्याहमीप्सितं बुद्ध्वा कालीं मातरमावहम्
na cocchedaṃ kulaṃ yāyād vistīryec ca kathaṃ yaśaḥ | tasyāham īpsitaṃ buddhvā kālīṃ mātaram āvaham |
«កុំឲ្យវង្សត្រកូលនេះត្រូវផុតពូជ ហើយកិត្តិយសរបស់វាចូររីកពង្រីកជានិច្ច»។ ដោយដឹងថានោះជាបំណងក្នុងព្រះហឫទ័យរបស់ព្រះអង្គ ខ្ញុំបាននាំមាតា កាលី (សត្យវតី) មក។ ដើម្បីប្រយោជន៍វង្សត្រកូល និងដើម្បីបំពេញព្រះហឫទ័យបិតា ខ្ញុំបានធ្វើព្រះសច្ចៈដ៏លំបាក—មិនឡើងសោយរាជ្យ និងរក្សាព្រហ្មចារីយ៍ដាច់ខាតពេញមួយជីវិត។ រឿងទាំងនេះ អ្នកក៏ដឹងល្អហើយ។ ខ្ញុំកាន់តាមសច្ចៈនោះ ហើយស្នាក់នៅទីនេះដោយចិត្តស្ងប់សុខ មិនរំខាន។
