राजानो राजपुत्राश्न दुर्योधनवशानुगा: । रणे शस्त्राग्निना दग्धा: प्राप्स्पन्ति यमसादनम्
sañjaya uvāca |
rājāno rājaputrāś ca duryodhanavaśānugāḥ |
raṇe śastrāgninā dagdhāḥ prāpsyanti yamasādanam ||
សញ្ជ័យបាននិយាយថា៖ ព្រះមហាក្សត្រ និងព្រះរាជកុមារ ដែលស្ថិតក្រោមអំណាចឌុរយោធនៈ នឹងត្រូវឆេះឆាបក្នុងសមរភូមិដោយភ្លើងនៃអាវុធ ហើយពិតប្រាកដនឹងទៅដល់ទីស្នាក់របស់យមរាជ។
संजय उवाच
Association and obedience to an unrighteous leader (here, Duryodhana) carries moral and practical consequences; those who knowingly support adharma become participants in its downfall and meet destruction.
Sañjaya foretells the fate of the allied kings and princes who have aligned themselves with Duryodhana: they will be slain in war—figuratively ‘burnt’ by the fire of weapons—and will go to Yama’s realm.
