Udyoga Parva 142: Vidura’s warning to Kuntī and Kuntī’s resolve to meet Karṇa

युधिष्ठिरो मया दृष्टो ग्रसमानो वसुन्धराम् | त्वया दत्तामिमां व्यक्त भोक्ष्यते स वसुन्धराम्
sañjaya uvāca | yudhiṣṭhiro mayā dṛṣṭo grasamāno vasundharām | tvayā dattām imāṃ vyakta bhokṣyate sa vasundharām ||
សញ្ជ័យបាននិយាយថា៖ «ខ្ញុំបានឃើញយុធិષ્ઠិរ ដូចជាកំពុងលេបផែនដីនេះទាំងមូល។ ដូច្នេះ វាច្បាស់លាស់ថា គាត់—គាត់តែប៉ុណ្ណោះ—នឹងបានរីករាយគ្រប់គ្រងវសុន្ធរានេះ ដែលអ្នកបានប្រគល់ឲ្យ»។
संजय उवाच
Moral and political legitimacy ultimately follows dharma: the one aligned with righteousness is portrayed as destined to possess and govern the realm, even if power is temporarily held by others.
Sanjaya reports a vision/observation in which Yudhiṣṭhira appears to ‘swallow the earth,’ a symbolic omen indicating that Yudhiṣṭhira will ultimately gain sovereignty over the land—specifically the very kingdom said to have been ‘given’ by the listener.
