उद्धावयस्व वीर्य वा तां वा गच्छ ध्रुवां गतिम्‌ । धर्म पुत्राग्रतः कृत्वा किंनिमित्तं हि जीवसि

Transliteration

uddhāvayasva vīryaṃ vā tāṃ vā gaccha dhruvāṃ gatim | dharma-putrāgrataḥ kṛtvā kiṃ-nimittaṃ hi jīvasi

Translation

វាយុបាននិយាយថា៖ «ចូរលើកកម្លាំងក្លាហានឡើង ហើយចូលធ្វើការ—បើមិនដូច្នោះទេ ចូរទៅដល់ចុងបញ្ចប់ដ៏ប្រាកដនោះ។ ដោយដាក់កូនៗនៃធម៌ (បណ្ឌវ) ជាការព្រួយបារម្ភដំបូងបំផុតរបស់អ្នក តើហេតុអ្វីបានជាអ្នកនៅតែចងចិត្តជាប់នឹងជីវិត?»
