Udyoga-parva Adhyāya 126 — Kṛṣṇa’s Indictment of Misrule and the Varuṇa Analogy (कृष्णवाक्यं–धर्मपाशदृष्टान्तः)
इति मातड्भवचन परीप्सन्ति हितेप्सव: । धर्माय चैव प्रणमेद् ब्राह्मुणेभ्यश्व मद्विध:
iti mātaṅga-bhavacanaṃ parīpsanti hitepsavaḥ | dharmāya caiva praṇamed brāhmaṇebhyaś ca mad-vidhaḥ |
វៃសម្បាយណៈបាននិយាយថា៖ «ដូច្នេះ អ្នកដែលស្វែងរកសេចក្តីប្រយោជន៍របស់ខ្លួន តែងទទួលយក និងប្រតិបត្តិតាមពាក្យណែនាំខាងលើរបស់ឥសី មាតង្គៈ។ ហេតុនេះ បុរសដូចខ្ញុំ កោតគោរពតែធម៌ និងព្រះព្រាហ្មណ៍ប៉ុណ្ណោះ—មិនកោតចំពោះសត្រូវឡើយ»។
