Udyoga-parva Adhyāya 126 — Kṛṣṇa’s Indictment of Misrule and the Varuṇa Analogy (कृष्णवाक्यं–धर्मपाशदृष्टान्तः)
नच त॑ कृष्ण पश्यामि क्षत्रधर्ममनुछितम् । उत्सहेत युधा जेतुं यो न: शत्रुनिबर्हण
na ca tvaṁ kṛṣṇa paśyāmi kṣatradharmam anucitam | utsaheta yudhā jetuṁ yo naḥ śatrunibarhaṇa ||
ហើយឱ ក្រឹષ્ણ—អ្នកបំផ្លាញសត្រូវ—ខ្ញុំមិនឃើញនរណាម្នាក់ដែលប្រតិបត្តិធម៌ក្សត្រិយៈបានត្រឹមត្រូវ ហើយនៅតែហ៊ានគិតថានឹងឈ្នះយើងទាំងអស់គ្នានៅក្នុងសង្គ្រាមបានឡើយ។
