ययातिपतन-कारणम् (The Cause of Yayāti’s Fall) — Nārada’s Counsel on Pride and Reconciliation
यत् फलं दानशीलस्य क्षमाशीलस्य यत् फलम् | यच्च मे फलमाधाने तेन संयुज्यतां भवान्,“दानशील पुरुषको जो पुण्यफल प्राप्त होता है, क्षमाशील मनुष्यको जो फल मिलता है तथा अग्निस्थापन आदि वेदोक्त कर्मोंके अनुष्ठानसे मुझे जिस फलकी प्राप्ति होनेवाली है, उन सभी प्रकारके पुण्यफलोंसे आप सम्पन्न हों!
yat phalaṁ dānaśīlasya kṣamāśīlasya yat phalam | yac ca me phalam ādhāne tena saṁyujyatāṁ bhavān ||
នារ៉ទៈបាននិយាយថា៖ «បុណ្យផលដែលអ្នកមានចិត្តសប្បុរសក្នុងការទានទទួលបាន បុណ្យផលដែលអ្នកមានចិត្តអត់ឱនទទួលបាន ហើយបុណ្យផលដែលខ្ញុំនឹងទទួលបានពីការអនុវត្តពិធីវេដៈ ដូចជាការតាំងភ្លើងបរិសុទ្ធ—សូមឲ្យបុណ្យផលទាំងអស់នោះរួមមកលើអ្នក»។
