Nahuṣa Abhiṣeka and the Crisis of Restraint (नहुषाभिषेकः—दमभ्रंशः)
उक्तवानसि मां पूर्वमृतां तां कुरु वै गिरम् । नोक्तपूर्व च भगवन् वृथा ते किंचिदीश्वर
uktavān asi māṃ pūrvam ṛtāṃ tāṃ kuru vai giram | noktapūrva ca bhagavan vṛthā te kiṃcid īśvara ||
សាល្យៈបាននិយាយថា៖ «មុននេះ អ្នកបាននិយាយសន្យាជាមួយខ្ញុំរួចហើយ ដូច្នេះ សូមធ្វើឲ្យពាក្យនោះក្លាយជាការពិត និងបំពេញសេចក្តីសន្យាចាស់នោះ។ ឱ ព្រះអម្ចាស់ដ៏គួរគោរព សូមកុំមានពាក្យណាដែលមិនធ្លាប់និយាយ ឬឥតមូលដ្ឋានឡើយ—សូមកុំឲ្យពាក្យរបស់អ្នកក្លាយជាឥតប្រយោជន៍ ឱ អធិរាជ»។
