Svargārohaṇa-parva Adhyāya 5 — Karmaphala-Nirdeśa and Phalāśruti (कर्मफलनिर्देशः फलश्रुतिश्च)
कार्ष्ण॑ वेदमिमं सर्व शृणुयाद् यः समाहित: । ब्रह्महत्यादिपापानां कोटिस्तस्य विनश्यति,जो एकाग्रचित होकर इस सम्पूर्ण “कार्ष्ण वेदैं” का श्रवण करता है उसके ब्रह्महत्या आदि करोड़ों पापोंका नाश हो जाता है
kārṣṇa vedaṃ imaṃ sarvaṃ śṛṇuyād yaḥ samāhitaḥ | brahmahatyādipāpānāṃ koṭis tasya vinaśyati ||
វៃសម្បាយនៈបាននិយាយថា៖ អ្នកណាដែលមានចិត្តប្រមូលផ្តុំ និងផ្តោតតែមួយ ហើយស្តាប់ “ការិṣṇa-វេទ” ទាំងមូលនេះ—បាបរាប់កោដិរបស់គាត់ ចាប់ពីបាបធ្ងន់ដូចជាការសម្លាប់ព្រហ្មណ៍ (ព្រហ្មហត្យា) ជាដើម នឹងរលាយបាត់អស់។
